I am not going to describe just how great the beaches at Fiji are, because that can be easily seen from the pictures and reviews of Fiji. I want to bring out other interesting and fantastic things about Fiji.

Take the opportunity to stay with a Fijian village family; there are lots of benefits to take away by doing this. Firstly you will learn how these people live off the land and live a very simple and relaxed life. You will get to learn Fijian dishes to cook, participate in farming, fishing, swimming and other outdoor activities the locals do on a daily basis. Also learn firsthand the culture of the people.

Every place has its pros and cons, so what are the cons of Fiji. Firstly the living of Fiji is relatively cheap, however for tourist staying on the Island resorts you will find the prices of products and services somewhat expensive. The mainland areas like Nadi, Suva and Lautoka are much cheaper. It is in these areas you may want to do your tourist shopping for back home.

Most of the Islands are couple and family friendly. Fiji is not known for big night partying like Cancun or Vegas. Rather it is the best place to settle your soul down back to earth and remember how magical life really is.

Many resorts offer couples to get married or offer the atmosphere of romance and privacy of your own beach.

Not every resort will be the best and most comfortable, use trip advisor to quickly spot the bad from good. Generally if you stick to Taveuni Island and Mamanuca Islands you should have a very good time. There are more good Islands and resorts apart from the ones mentioned so do your research well.
